Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrading to Pro takes just a few clicks. This guide walks you through every step.
Step-by-Step: Upgrading to Pro
Step 1: Open Subscription Settings
Open TalkWriter and go to Settings > Subscription. You see your current plan and an Upgrade to Pro button.
Step 2: Choose Your Billing Cycle
Select your preferred billing cycle:

Step 3: Review the Payment Summary
A Payment Summary modal appears showing:
- Selected plan and billing cycle
- Price breakdown (subtotal, tax if applicable)
- Next billing date
- Any proration (if switching mid-cycle)
Review the details carefully before proceeding.
Step 4: Complete Stripe Checkout
Click Continue to Payment to open the secure Stripe checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm.
All payments are processed through Stripe. TalkWriter never sees or stores your credit card information.
Step 5: Start Using Pro
Once payment is confirmed, your Pro features activate immediately. You see a confirmation in the app and can start using unlimited dictation, TalkTone, and all other Pro features right away.
Upgrading to Enterprise
Enterprise upgrades are handled by the sales team:
- Contact sales to discuss your team's needs
- Receive a custom proposal and pricing
- Complete onboarding with your dedicated account manager
Upgrading Mid-Cycle
If you upgrade from Free to Pro during the middle of a week, your Pro access starts immediately. Your first billing cycle begins on the day you upgrade.
If you are on a free trial and decide to upgrade early, your paid subscription begins when the trial ends. You are not charged until then.

Can I try Pro before paying? Yes. All new users get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
What payment methods are accepted? Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. See Payment Methods.
