The 14-day trial lets you test everything risk-free so you can make an informed decision. No credit card means you will never be charged by surprise.

During your trial, you get full access to everything in Pro:

How to Start
- Download TalkWriter from talkwriter.ai.
- Create an account with Google or email/password.
- Your Pro trial starts automatically -- no extra steps needed.
Trial Timeline

What Happens When Your Trial Ends
When the 14-day trial is over:

Since no credit card is required, you will never be charged automatically. You only pay if you actively choose to upgrade.
Practical Example: Making the Most of Your Trial
Scenario: You just signed up and want to evaluate whether Pro is worth $9.99/month.
Week 1: Use TalkWriter for your normal work. Try dictating emails, Slack messages, and documents. Notice how AI Polish cleans up your speech.
Week 2: Now explore the Pro features:
- Enable TalkTone and try Email mode for your next 5 emails. Compare the output to plain AI Polish.
- If you speak a second language, enable Banglish and test transliteration.
- Push past 2,000 words to see what unlimited dictation feels like.
- Set up Custom Instructions (e.g., "Always use British English" or "Keep everything under 3 sentences").
By day 14, you will know exactly whether the Pro features save you enough time to justify the subscription.
Set a calendar reminder for day 12 of your trial. This gives you two days to upgrade before the trial ends. If you upgrade during the trial, your paid subscription begins when the trial ends -- you are not charged early.
Upgrading During or After Your Trial
You can upgrade to Pro at any time:
- Go to Settings > Subscription.
- Click Upgrade to Pro.
- Choose monthly ($9.99/mo) or annual ($7.99/mo -- save 20%).
- Complete checkout through Stripe.
If you upgrade during your trial, your paid subscription begins when the trial ends -- you are not charged until then.
FAQ
Can I extend the trial? The trial is 14 days for all users and cannot be extended.
What if I forget to upgrade before the trial ends? No problem. You move to the Free plan with no data loss. You can upgrade to Pro at any time afterward.
Can I start a second trial later? No. The free trial is available once per account.
Does the trial include all Pro features, or a limited set? The trial includes every single Pro feature. There are no restrictions during the trial period.
