Follow this checklist to get your organization up and running with TalkWriter Enterprise. Most teams complete setup in under a day.
Setup Checklist
Phase 1: Account Setup
- ✅ Sign your Enterprise agreement — Your account manager sends the contract and invoice
- ✅ Receive admin credentials — You get an email with your Admin Portal login
- ✅ Log into the Admin Portal — Go to admin.talkwriter.ai
- ✅ Add a second admin — Go to Team and invite at least one backup admin
Phase 2: Security Configuration
- ✅ Configure SSO — Follow the SSO setup guide to connect your identity provider
- ✅ Test SSO login — Have one person sign in via SSO to confirm it works
- ✅ Enable SCIM — Follow the SCIM provisioning guide for automatic user sync
- ✅ Set security policies — Under Security, configure session timeout and Privacy Mode settings
- ✅ Require SSO — Once SSO is tested, toggle "Require SSO" to enforce it for all users
Phase 3: Deployment
- ✅ Choose deployment method — MDM (recommended for 50+ users) or self-install
- ✅ Prepare MDM package — Follow the MDM deployment guide for Jamf or Mosyle
- ✅ Upload PPPC profile — Pre-grant Accessibility and Microphone permissions
- ✅ Deploy to pilot group — Start with 5-10 users to test the full experience
- ✅ Verify pilot — Confirm users can sign in, dictate, and paste without issues
- ✅ Roll out to all users — Expand deployment to the full organization
Phase 4: Team Onboarding
- ✅ Send welcome email — Let your team know TalkWriter is available
- ✅ Share quick-start resources — Link to the Getting Started guide
- ✅ Set up a Slack channel — Create

Phase 5: Monitoring
- ✅ Check adoption after 1 week — Go to Analytics and review active user count
- ✅ Follow up with inactive users — Nudge team members who have not tried TalkWriter yet
- ✅ Review usage at 30 days — Export a report and share results with leadership

FAQ
Do I need to complete every step? SSO and SCIM are optional but strongly recommended. At minimum, complete Phases 1, 3, and 4.
Can your team help with setup? Yes. Enterprise customers receive a dedicated onboarding engineer. Contact your account manager to schedule a kickoff call.
What if we have both Mac and Windows users? TalkWriter is currently macOS-only. Windows users can join the waitlist at talkwriter.ai/windows.
