- Open Settings > Notifications
- Toggle Quiet Hours on
- Set your start time and end time
During quiet hours, notifications are suppressed entirely. They do not queue up.
Set quiet hours to match your focus time or overnight hours. For example, 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM prevents late-night update notifications.
macOS Notification Settings
TalkWriter respects your system-level settings. If you have disabled notifications for TalkWriter in System Settings > Notifications, no notifications appear regardless of in-app settings.
